Zebra grass is a large, attractive cultivar of Maiden Grass. It has a very similar appearance to Porcupine Grass, but is a bit more arching. Medium-green foliage has yellow horizontal bands, and turns tan in the fall. Silvery, tassel-like flowerheads bloom in late summer-early fall. Foliage and seedheads add winter interest. Zebra Grass adapts to a wide variety of soil conditions once established.
