BLACK KNIGHT BUTTERFLY BUSH
Description
Plant in full sun in moderately moist, well-drained soil. Butterfly bush breaks late in the spring, then grows rapidly. Do not cut down in fall; cut back to new buds in early spring. The flowers are large and very fragrant. They are also a good cut flower and attract butterflies. Removal of spent flower spikes will encourage additional blooms. Butterfly bush will not over-winter in wet areas.
