BLONDE AMBITION BLUE GRAMA GRASS
Description
An unusual sight in the garden, this native grass features chartreuse seedheads held horizontally, like billowing flags, atop two foot tall stems. They stand out beautifully against the blue-green, sturdy blades of the grass. This plant will develop an extensive root system if kept watered the first year, allowing it to be drought tolerant in subsequent seasons. Seedheads add interesting texture to the winter landscape, so don’t cut back until spring.
