CRIMSON PYGMY BARBERRY
Description
Crimson Pygmy Barberry makes a nice accent plant or low hedge. It is an adaptable shrub and can tolerate dry soils once established. Leaves emerge red in the spring and mature to purple, and keep their color throughout the summer into the fall. This is a good low-maintenance shrub to add color to the landscape. Color is best in full sun. A bright red berry is produced in fall and persists into the winter making a nice display.
