DARK KNIGHT BLUE MIST SHRUB
This well-behaved plant explodes with color late in the season. Fragrant, deep bluish-purple flower clusters bloom along stems, becoming a magnet for butterflies and pollinators. Gray-green leaves have silvery undersides. Caryopteris need well-drained soils and can handle a bit of drought. Unlike other perennials, stems may not completely die back in winter. Therefore, pruning can be done in spring to remove dead tips, or if preferred, cut to the ground in fall and new growth will come from the roots.
