EASTERN BEE BALM

Description

This native beebalm is one of the earliest to bloom. Pink to light lavender flowers with purple spotting appear early summer and are attractive to many pollinators. The foliage forms a nice clump and offers good mildew resistance, however, it is beneficial to plant in an area with good air circulation. Being in the mint family, beebalm is generally passed over by browsing deer.
