HEARTLAND CATALPA
Description
With its narrow overall form, this tree is great for parkways and moderately sized yards. In late spring, Catalpa features clusters of fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white flowers, speckled with yellow and purple. Large, deep green heart-shaped leaves create a dense canopy. Long bean-like pods give the tree a whimsical look. This tree can handle a wide range of soil conditions and is well-suited for tough urban growing conditions.
