HOT PAPAYA CONEFLOWER
Plant in full sun. It prefers moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate poor soil, heat, and drought when established. The large flowers have gorgeous, hot pink-orange double blooms on strong stems, and bloom mid-summer into fall. Remove spent blooms to encourage rebloom. Hot Papaya attracts butterflies, and is excellent in borders, groupings, and as a cut or dried flower. Would pair beautifully with Russian Sage, May Night Salvia or Calamintha. Deer resistant.
