JACK PEAR
Description
This ornamental pear is the perfect tree for tight spaces. Its very dense, narrow canopy will provide an excellent screen with seasonal interest. Spring blooms of white clusters appear before the leaves. Fall color can be golden with hues of red to full red. A few, small fruits may be produced late in the summer. This tree is a vigorous grower and is highly resistant to fire-blight. Use it in place of crabapples as a specimen, under power lines, or in narrow places where some height is needed.
