Description

Jacob’s Ladder is an Illinois native wildflower that is found in a variety of woodlands. Clusters of light blue flowers bloom in April-May, and are attractive to bees. Compound leaves are medium-green and turn yellow in the fall. It can be grown in full sun, but it will need adequate moisture. It can tolerate clay soils once established. Jacob’s Ladder is a great addition to the woodland garden.
