LATE BLOOMING LILAC
Description
True to its name, Late-blooming Lilac is the last of the shrub lilacs to flower. Large clusters of light purple, fragrant flowers bloom in late May-early June. Deep green leaves turn golden-yellow in the fall. Late-blooming Lilac is a very hardy and adaptable shrub for our climate, and can tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions (except wet areas) once established. It is an attractive shrub that makes a great specimen or can be used in a large border.
