MONTGOMERY ASTILBE
Description
Large dark red plumes contrast with glossy green foliage that emerges bronze in spring. This astilbe makes a nice colorful landscape accent and mass planting. Do not allow to dry out. It is most successfully grown in a shady area but can tolerate some morning sun. A moist, well-drained area is key for this plant. Cut back in spring. Deer resistant.
