MUNCHKIN OAKLEAF HYDRANGEA
Description
This compact shrub provides flower and fall color in the shade, along with beautiful exfoliating bark for the winter garden. Pure white panicles, up to 6 inches long, begin bloom in late June. Flowers slowly change to pink as they age with many shades present at once on the shrub. Flowers never droop, even in storms, as the stems are strong and upright. Dark green, deeply lobed foliage turns a fabulous mahogany-red in fall. This shrub can handle extra moisture and morning sun. Blooms on old wood.
