RASPBERRY SPEAR CRABAPPLE
Description
A tightly columnar form, this tree begins the season covered in deep pink flower buds which open to reveal showy magenta blooms. Foliage of this variety has excellent disease resistance. It begins dark purple before turning green. As the leaves age, they will change to bronze before the orange tints of fall appear. Purple-red fruits ripen to bright red in fall and hold into winter. A great tree for those tight spaces that need a little pizzazz!
