AMETHYST FALLS WISTERIA
Description
This native wisteria flowers dependably and heavily at an early age. Lightly fragrant, lavender-purple blooms, appear first in June and may rebloom later in summer. These extremely showy, cascading flower clusters measure 4 to 6 inches long. This is a vigorous growing, twining vine, perfect for covering strong support structures like arbors or fences. Flowers appear on new growth, so prune in winter to shape. This plant is drought tolerant once established.
