BARTZELLA ITOH PEONY
Description
A stunning hybrid cross between an herbaceous and tree peony. Has the potential to produce up to eighty, 9″ wide fragrant yellow flowers in the spring held over sturdy stems. Flowers open over a 6-week period. Flowers do not topple over after rain like other peony hybrids. Remove the spent flowerheads when they are done blooming. Cut back stems to the ground after the first frost. Use as a specimen or grouping. Deer and rabbit resistant.
