Description
Prefers sun and well-drained soil. Divide in spring or fall. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage a rebloom. The blooms are excellent as cut flowers, and the foliage is attractive even without them. Cut to basal growth in September, and divide every 2-3 years. The stems do not require staking. Good companion plants are liatris, coreopsis, anemone.
