BIT OF HONEY FALSE SUNFLOWER
Description
Golden-yellow, full flowers with gold cones, dance atop this compact heliopsis during the summer. But the most interesting aspect of this sun-lover is its foliage. Pronounced, deep green veining on the white leaves provides an unusual variation to the typical green garden. The low, dense, bushy habit makes this a great plant for mid-border. Works best in soils of average fertility and moisture – not a fussy plant at all. Emerges later in spring than many other perennials. Makes a great cut flower
