BLUE MOON WISTERIA
Description
Blue Moon is a cultivar of the native Kentucky Wisteria. It is a large vine that works great for a sturdy support such as an arbor, trellis, or pergola. Blue Moon is the hardiest of the wisterias to our climate. Large, 12″ long clusters of fragrant lavender-blue flowers bloom in late spring-early summer. These flowers attract butterflies and bees. Glossy green pinnate leaves turn yellow in the fall. Blue Moon will flower best in full sun with moist to average soil conditions.
