CRANBERRY COTONEASTER
Description
Cranberry Cotoneaster is a dense, mounding shrub that is ideal for a low border or as a specimen. It is an adaptable shrub that can tolerate poor soils and drought once established. Small pink flowers bloom in late spring, and develop into bright red berries in late summer. Berries persist into winter, making a very showy display. Glossy, deep green leaves turn bronze-red in the fall. The arching branches add interest to low walls and banks.
