JUNE HOSTA
Description
Plant in part shade to shade in rich, well drained soil. June can tolerate some sun. A great hosta for use in dry shade under trees. Young plant leaves have a gold center and a blue-green margin. More mature leaves turn green with blue-green margins. The center will turn creamy white in bright light. The flower is light violet, and blooms July into August on 16-20″ scapes. Cut off discolored leaves and spent flowers. Cut back after first frost.
