LOW SCAPE MOUND BLACK CHOKEBERRY
Description
A versatile native, Black Chokeberry works in nearly any setting, sun to shade and wet to dry. This petite selection has a dense, mounded habit of glossy green leaves in summer, perfect for the front of a border or massed for a groundcover effect. Clusters of small, white flowers appear in spring bringing small, dark purple-black fruits in fall. Fruit persists through winter, providing an excellent food source for birds. Fall color is outstanding shades of red to orange.
