MILLENIUM ORNAMENTAL ONION
Description
Named the 2018 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year, this allium is a workhorse in the sunny landscape. Pollinators will love it, deer and rabbits will avoid it. Clump-forming, glossy green, grass-like foliage remains attractive throughout the season. Showy, rose-purple blooms, held above the foliage appear in mid to late summer. Seed is sterile, so this plant will not spread. Performs best in well-drained soils as too much moisture will cause the bulb to rot.
