Description

Plant in the sun in well drained soil, but will tolerate moist soils. It will bloom from September into October. Prune back in June by 30-50% to improve shape and delay blooming. It benefits from good air circulation and not being over-crowded. Cut back completely after flowering. A great plant for group plantings and fall color. One of the most popular asters, great purple color. It will also attract butterflies.
