PURPLEGUM SPEEDWELL
Description
This veronica variety boasts a profusion of vivid purple flower spikes beginning in early summer and continuing long through the season. Compact, bright green foliage and tidy form make this a great plant for edging a sunny walkway or massing in front of the perennial border. Veronicas can handle a bit of shade in the heat of the day, but do best in sunny garden beds with rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
