Description
Rouge Cardinal Clematis is an attractive clematis cultivar that supports large flowers. This profuse bloomer has velvety, deep crimson flowers which appear on current season’s growth. Green leaves darken as they age but have no significant fall color. Rouge Cardinal is a great clematis to grow on a trellis or arbor. Needs good mulching to keep the roots cool. One of the best red-flowering clematis available.
