TOSCANA BARBERRY
Description
Toscana is a Barberry variety that has a tight, upright growth habit. Red leaves have yellow variegation, and turn burgundy-red in the fall. Small yellow flowers bloom in the spring, and develop into small red fruits. Toscana will have best color in full sun, and grows best in average, well-drained soil. Toscana makes a good low hedge, and can tolerate heavy pruning and sheering.
