Armstrong Gold is an improved cultivar of the parent ‘Armstrong’ exhibiting a more reliable, compact, less leggy growth habit. Its columnar form makes it an ideal tree for narrow planting sites. Foliage is quite dense on this tree and has a beautiful orange-gold fall show.
