COLUMNAR WHITE PINE
Description
This is an upright, columnar cultivar of our native White Pine. This is one of our fastest-growing pines, averaging at 2-3 feet per year. Blue-green needles are soft and have good color retention throughout the year. Previous years’ needles will shed in the fall. Columnar White pine is an adaptable and hardy tree that can tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions once established. Plant in full sun and avoid wet areas. Columnar White Pine makes an attractive specimen for any size yard.
