FRANCEE HOSTA
Description
Plant in part shade in rich, well drained soil. This hosta variety can handle dry soil once established, and has good sun tolerance if kept moist. The dark green, heart-shaped leaves have a puckered texture and regular, white, narrow margins. The lavender flowers are held on 24″ scapes in August. Cut off discolored leaves and spent flowers. Cut back after first frost. Use in borders, groupings, or as a groundcover. Works well with ferns, astilbe, and campanula.
