GODZILLA JAPANESE PAINTED FERN
Description
‘Godzilla’ looks just like a traditional Japanese Painted Fern, with silvery fronds and purple stems, but on steroids! As the name implies, this fern can grow to monstrous proportions at nearly 3 feet wide and just as tall. Its needs are few – keep consistently moist in well-drained soil and provide afternoon shade. To protect this plant against winter heave, cut down in Spring rather than Fall. Planted among dark-leaved perennials, Godzilla’s foliage will definitely stand out.
