GRAND CASCADE BUTTERFLY BUSH
Description
As the summer starts to wind down, butterfly bushes begin to amp up. Grand Cascade begins its stunning show in August with over-sized, arching panicles of light lavender-purple flowers. Each bloom can be up to 14″ long and 4″ wide. A large, rounded shrub, plant it in a sunny location at the back of the border, but be sure to cut some flowers for indoor vases so as to enjoy their honey-sweet scent. As with all butterfly bushes, well-drained soil is a must as roots can rot in wet, winter soils.
