IRISH MOSS
Description
Prefers light to moderate shade and moist, well drained soil but will tolerate sandy well drained soils. Not drought tolerant, it must be watered frequently in hot, dry weather. Use between stepping stones or as a small scale groundcover. It will tolerate light foot traffic. Used in containers, Irish Moss adds color and a ‘delicate’ texture. It attracts butterflies and is deer resistant.
