LIMONCELLO BARBERRY
Description
Limoncello is a new Barberry variety that has a tight, mounded growth habit. Chartreuse leaves have red variegation, and turn shades of red, orange, and yellow in the fall. Small yellow flowers bloom in the spring, and develop into small red fruits. Limoncello will have best color in full sun, and grows best in average, well-drained soil. Limoncello makes a good low hedge, and can tolerate heavy pruning and sheering.
