NEW HARMONY ELM
Description
Developed by the U.S. National Arboretum, New Harmony Elm is a very hardy and adaptable shade tree with dark green foliage. It has an upright vase-shape like the classic American elm yet with a narrower crown. It has good levels of disease tolerance, although it is not immune to Dutch Elm Disease. New Harmony Elm has the same tolerance to air pollution and poor soil conditions as the species. Fall foliage color is yellow.
