NORTHERN HI LIGHTS AZALEA
Description
Northern Hi-Lights is part of the Northern Lights collection of azaleas. This cultivar has better cold-hardiness than other azaleas. Clusters of bright white flowers with a yellow upper petal bloom in mid-spring, and are very fragrant. Deep green leaves emerge after the flowers, and turn maroon-red in the fall. Northern Hi-Lights is a deciduous azalea. Grows best in acidic soils and in an area with morning sun and afternoon shade. This is an excellent azalea for our area.
