REDWING VIBURNUM
Description
Red Wing is an attractive cultivar of the native American Cranberrybush Viburnum. Trilobed leaves emerge deep red and mature to deep green. Fall color is red. Clusters of white flowers bloom in late spring. Fertile flowers develop into bright red fruits that are a good winter food source for birds. A great specimen or border shrub, Red Wing can tolerate light shade and clay soils once established. This is an introduction form Chicagoland Grows.
