Description
Rose of Sharons are low maintenance and hardy shrubs once established. Lil Kim is a compact cultivar that has single white flowers with red centers that bloom in mid-late summer. These flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Medium-green leaves emerge late in the spring, and turn yellow-green in the fall. Lil Kim’s small size makes it a great addition to a perennial bed or as a low border. It will do most of its growth in hot weather.
