ROYAL PURPLE SMOKEBUSH
Description
Royal Purple Smoke Bush is an attractive and adaptable large shrub that can tolerate dry and poor soils once established. Ovate leaves emerge maroon-red late in the spring, and mature to purple throughout the rest of the growing season. Airy panicles of tiny flowers give a pink “smokey” appearance during the summer months. Royal Purple makes a good specimen where color is needed in the landscape. Does not like wet soils.
