SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS ITOH PEONY
Description
If the name doesn’t get your attention, the flowers of this peony most certainly will. Each is nearly six inches in diameter and can be semi to fully double. Creamy yellow with a pink blush and a lightly tipped pink edge, leave some blooms for the pollinators and cut a few to enjoy indoors. A profuse bloomer when mature, this plant needs fertile, moist, well-drained soils in full sun to reach its full potential. Remove spent blooms once flowering is finished to keep the plant looking its best.
