SPRITE ASTILBE
Description
Plant in a shaded area in evenly moist, well-drained soil. Astilbe is not drought tolerant. Do not allow them to dry out. Water well in July and August. It blooms in mid-season, after Deutschland and Rheinland. They are heavy feeders; fertilize with 20-10-10 in October or in early spring. Cut back in the spring, not fall, but remove dried leaves anytime. Sprite is a small astilbe for grouping in the front of a shade garden or border. Attracts butterflies! Deer and rabbit resistant!
