AMERICAN DREAM SWAMP WHITE OAK
Description
Chosen for its broadly pyramidal form and nice density, this oak is a great shade tree option. Spring leaves emerge with a bronze tinge, quickly becoming large and glossy green with wavy edges. Fall color is a golden yellow changing to tawny brown. The leaves then hold into winter, providing interest along with the exfoliating bark. This oak does best in wet, slightly acidic soils, but will tolerate drier soils once established. It exhibits excellent resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew.
