BLUE PRINCESS HOLLY
Description
Blue Princess Holly is an attractive evergreen that makes a great hedge, screen, and specimen. Leathery, deep green leaves have good color retention throughout the year. Blue Princess is a female cultivar, and, if pollinated, will produce bright red berries in the fall which persist into winter. It requires pollination by Blue Prince, and one male should be planted for every 3 to 4 females. This shrub is adaptable and hardy, but it cannot tolerate drought and needs protection from winter winds.
