DOUGLAS FIR
Description
Douglas Fir is an attractive conifer native to the western United States. Short needles are blue-green, and have good color retention throughout the year. Small cones have unusual bracts on the scales. Douglas Fir needs full sun for dense growth, and avoid planting in wet areas. It is a great conifer to use as a specimen or in groupings.
