NORWAY SPRUCE
Description
Norway Spruce is a large and attractive spruce native to Northern Europe. Branches tend to have a pendulous characteristic to them. Needles are deep green, and have good color retention throughout the year. Cones are large and deep brown. It is an adaptable tree that can tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions once estabished. Avoid planting in wet sites. Norway Spruce becomes a large tree, and is best suited for large areas.
