TIANSHAN SEVEN SON FLOWER
Description
A plant for all seasons, Tainshan can be used as a small specimen tree or large shrub. Dark green leaves emerge from the well-branched form in spring, creating a dense cover for nesting birds. Late summer brings clusters of fragrant, creamy-white flowers held at the ends of the reddish-brown branches. Once done blooming, the flower petals fall away, revealing dark pink calyxes. Winter is the time to admire the exfoliating papery bark, revealing a darker inner bark.
