ADAMS CRAB
Description
Adams is a hardy crabapple that develops a rounded crown. Attractive, deep pink flowers bloom in the spring and develop into 5/8″ red fruits that persist in the fall and winter. Leaves are maroon when they emerge, and mature to green-purple. It has excellent resistance to cedar-apple rust, and good resistance to apple scab. This tree prefers moist, well-drained soil, but is adaptable to other soil types.
