WORPLESDON SWEETGUM
Description
This improved cultivar has been chosen for its striking architectual form and gorgeous fall color. Its strong central leader ensures a nicely balanced crown. Deeply lobed leaves produce their most vivid autumn color when the tree is planted in moist, rich, slightly acidic soils. Be sure to provide moisture during periods of drought. Worplesdon is not as messy as other sweetgums as it does not produce as many of the spiny fruits (gumballs) and most will persist into winter.
