AUTUMN SPLENDOR HORSECHESTNUT
Autumn Splendor is a hybrid between Ohio Buckeye, Yellow Buckeye and Red Buckeye. Attractive panicles of cream-yellow flower clusters bloom in the spring after leafing, and may be visited by hummingbirds and orioles. Deep green, palmate leaves do not develop leaf scorch like other Horsechestnut and Buckeye species, and turns attractive shades of red in the fall. The shiny brown nuts are not edible. Autumn Splendor Horsechestnut is not bothered by insects or diseases.
