FOREST PANSY REDBUD
Description
Forest Pansy is a beautiful cultivar of our native Redbud. It is a great choice for smaller yards or under large trees. Clusters of lavender-pink flowers cover the tree in spring before the leaves emerge. Heart-shaped leaves emerge red-burgundy in the spring, and mature to maroon during the summer months. Leaves turn orange-yellow in the fall. Bark has a cinnamon color on mature specimens. It does best in partial shade with some wind protection.
